The International jew's harp Society released the SECOND issue of its new NEWSLETTER series.
Edited by Áron Szilágyi with an appealing layout, BOING aims to disseminate quality information on all matters relating to the jew's harp worldwide.
In this issue, you can read about some very interesting activities from Basque country to the land of the Ainu, Hokkaido, Japan. At some places the jew’s harp has almost been forgotten and devoted people started programs to bring it above the surface again. Our front cover topic introduces a very nice example in Cambodia.

For the record, between 2003 and 2012, the IJHS published 14 newsletters. Since issue 5, they have been edited by Michael Wright.
After a hiatus, the IJHS committee has decided to relaunch a newsletter which should appear at least twice a year.
Information should be sent to this address for the next issue, due out in spring 2025: aron@doromb.com
Boing to everyone, happy reading & enjoy news from the global jew’s harp community!
